Like many great business ventures, Gratiflow was born out of the need to solve a problem.
As President of a direct marketing company, directworx, Dan Schottlander was presented with a challenge by one of his biggest clients.
The client was sending out 100,000 gift cards to their members every quarter. But they were managing the offer fulfillment manually, by mail, and the process was expensive, time-consuming and laborious.
Huge lots of gift cards had to be purchased, packaged and mailed out – an exercise that could take close to three months to complete. By the time their members received their gift cards, they either didn’t remember what the gift card was for, or they had already spent weeks flooding the customer service number with complaint calls, creating a backlog of tickets that needed to be processed.
Their client knew there must be a better way, and asked Dan to come up with a solution. With a strong background in direct marketing and digital marketing, Dan and his team focused on creating a platform that delivered gift cards digitally and instantaneously – removing all the work in the middle.
Gratiflow helps reduce costs, improve efficiency and boost response rates across campaigns.
The team launched the platform for their client, and were able to reduce the time their fulfillment process took from 8 -10 weeks down to 8 -10 seconds. What’s more, they didn’t just offer fulfillment; they provided integrated digital reward campaigns with custom branded landed pages, automated emails and robust and detailed analytics and reporting.
And while their client was thrilled, the team saw an opportunity for their software to benefit other organizations struggling with manual rewards fulfillment as well. From cash flow and inventory management to limited fulfillment options and long fulfillment times, Gratiflow could solve the most significant challenges organizations were facing with traditional incentive fulfillment.
